This unit introduces the words, phrases and language that are used in healthcare environments, such as aged care facilities and hospitals.

If you have previously completed the "FOUNDATION WORKPLACE" course, you will discover that this course is similar, except this new course focuses on the professional language used in healthcare facilities. This course will help you to comprehend the terminology, and write better reports, using the professional language.

There is also the addition of a new video series, "Professional Healthcare Literacy", which helps you to convert non-professional language to appropriate healthcare phrases.
