If you have sensitive skin, there are a few simple things you can do to help.

    Check what's in the ingredients. When buying cosmetics, make sure there is nothing harsh, like alcohol, borax, acetone or sulfates in them. Look for products that are labeled "hypo-allergenic".

    Don't scrub your skin harshly when showering. Use a sponge or puff and softly clean in circles. The same goes for drying. Pat dry, do not rub.
