If the format looks correct click the RED start button at the bottom left (not your windows start button).
  23. 23
Open gaim and right click on a buddy in your buddylist for which you should have some logs, select "view log" the logs should appear grouped by the month. If so you are done. If not, go back to the rename program and click the "Undo All" button right next to the start button. Then carefully go over the instructions to make sure you followed them exactly, and try again.

  • This is a non-cool way of doing it. It could probably be done better in one step by some one who knows regular expressions and DOS batch files.
  • If anyone can replicate this functionality in a batch file I'm sure people would appreciate it. Upload the file to this page. And possibly suggest it to the guys at Gaim
