How to Create a Revolution for Your Villain

Want to start a revolution to fight your hero? Here are few steps.

  1. 1
Create a name. Be sure to make the name something that sounds dangerous; not sweet and sappy. It will make the villain look stronger. Everyone loves a strong villain.
  2. 2
Make a reason for his evil deeds. No one likes a villain who kills innocent people for no reason. Perhaps the villain thinks that what he or she is doing is right, or maybe he or she is so twisted he doesn't even realize what he is doing.
  3. 3
Start some backstory. No one is born evil. Perhaps he/she was bullied, or was taught by another evil person.
  4. 4
Make the villain special. He/she has to be strong in order to be feared.
  5. 5
Give the villain the opportunity to become successful in some or many occasions. It will show their strength or threat. Start off slowly; a new villain is not powerful as soon as he or she kills someone.
  6. 6
Write a battle. Of course this is a must, this will lead the future of the revolution. It can be between any characters, but make the battle realistic. No one is going to read about a hundred thousand citizens against your villain.
  7. 7
What goes up must come down. Eventually the villain will win, but must end defeated. The villain can be taken by surprise or the final battle can be planned; it is completely up to you.
