How to Do a Sweet Lemon Body Wrap

Here's a recipe for a body wrap that will leave your skin feeling rejuvenated and soft. Not only is this wrap extremely detoxifying, but it also helps with elasticity. You can do it in the privacy of your own home and no one has to know your secret.


  • 1/2 cup of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup of sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

    Mix the lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and olive oil into a mixing bowl. Make sure you mix it evenly. The mixture should be grainy because of the sea salt.

    Take a full paper towel and dip it into the bowl. Make sure you wet the entire paper towel.

    Place the soaked paper towel on your abdomen or on area of skin you wish to do the wrap on. Do not use the wrap near your eyes or the rest of your face.

    Take the plastic wrap and wrap it around the area (the tighter the better). It's best if you are able to wrap and cover the area several times, similar to how you would wrap an Ace bandage around a sprained appendage.

    Find a comfortable position. Sit back and relax or do one of your favorite activities.
    • Heat is good when it comes to this wrap so if you are feeling up to it, doing a light activity intensifies the wrap for optimal results. If you just want to relax you can use a heating pad or blanket wrapped around the surface of the area.
    • The optimal wrapping time is 45-60 minutes. Do not exceed 120 minutes.

    When you are finished, use a warm cloth and simply wipe off the area. Then you're good to go or you can apply a moisturizer for a silky smooth finish.
