There are many methods that can be used to have fun with loose change that is found lying around the house.So grab those pennies,and keep reading.

Method 1
Coin Art

    Using markers and a few coins,coin art is when you draw on any change you have,for example,you might give Lincoln a top hat and a long beard,or you might turn Washington into Elvis Presley.

Method 2
Nickel Sandwich

    Sandwich two nickels and a penny.(The penny goes in the middle of the nickels)

    Hold the nickel sandwich in between your dominant hand's thumb and index finger.

    Hold your non-dominant hand about a foot below your other hand.

    Drop the two bottom coins(the nickel and penny)onto the hand below.

    The nickel will always land on top of the penny!

Crayon Rubbings

    This is very simple.Place any type of coin underneath a piece of paper.

    Rub a crayon on the paper where the coin is.The coin's picture will show on the paper in whatever color crayon was used.

Method 4
Magic Eye Effect

    If you wear glasses, you may need to remove them to do this.

    Place two clean coins of the same pattern next to each other about 2 inches (5.1 cm) apart (you will need to adjust this).

    Look down on both of the coins without focusing directly on them, but past them. You should see three or four coins, though only two are there.

    If you are seeing four coins, move one of the coins over (very slowly) until two of the images overlap. (At which point you will be seeing three images).

    Adjust one of the coins (very slowly) until the images are aligned.
    • This is much easier if the coins have the same year printed on them. If they don't, use the words only and the edges.

Tips

  • Experiment with different distances at which you drop the nickel sandwich.
  • Be very creative with the coin art.Your imagination is the limit!
  • Use different colors for the crayon rubbings.
