  1. Image titled Grow out your eyebrows Step 1
Grow out your eyebrows if you have over plucked them. When you are a teen, this can be very easy to do.
  2. Image titled Brush eyebrows Step 2
Brush your eyebrows with your finger or a brush from the inside (near your nose) to the outside (to your temple).
  3. Image titled Fill in your eyebrows Step 3
Fill in your eyebrows with eyebrow liner by starting at the inner part of your brows (near the nose) and following your natural brow shape. Generally, you rarely pluck the top part of your eyebrows. If you have a hard time finding your natural line, move your middle finger over your brow. Your natural line is where the hair is a bit coarser.

Pluck stray eyebrow hairs. This keeps you from looking like Brooke Shields.

If you're not comfortable with plucking, you can always go to a salon and have your eyebrows waxed and then keep the shape by plucking stray hairs that grow every week.

  • Using a clear mascara is great for keeping for brows in place. You can also purchase a tinted formula do that your brows are more defined.
  • Putting ice on your eyebrows prior to plucking numbs it a little.
  • Avoid bleaching eyebrows.
  • Pluck your eyebrows when you get out of the shower or apply a warm, wet cloth for a while... it will help because your skin will be softer and easier to pluck.
  • Advil also helps.

  • If you use instant eyebrow thingies they can actually burn. I'm not sure why but..they can.
