How to Make a School Lunch

Are you tired of eating the same old thing everyday for lunch? Having just a sandwich and chips? Read and follow these tips and your lunches should improve dramatically.

    Choose a lunch box. Make sure that you choose one that you can put in your bag and that has enough space inside to fit everything that you want.

    Make sure you take a healthy main lunch, such as a sandwich, some pasta, a salad, or a wrap.

    Pack some snacks, such as a chocolate bar, a pack of crisps, etc.

    Make sure you pack a drink like a water or juice. Avoid fizzy drinks as many schools and/or teachers don't allow you to pack pop in your lunches. Plus, pop is unhealthy for you.

    Make sure that you take a healthy snack as well, like some yogurt or healthy cereal like Shreddies or Special K.

    Take at least one vegetable and/or fruit.

Tips

  • Put your lunch in the refrigerator to keep the food fresh.
  • Bananas are great for your lunchbox (if they don't go mushy, put them in a separate container/bag) because they contain natural sugars that will help energy levels, such as potassium.
