How to Make a Snow Pyramid Dessert

A special delight of a dessert that is shaped like a pyramid. The currant jelly can be substituted with other berry jellies as desired.

Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites
  • Small cup of currant jelly
  • Cream per serving

Steps

    Beat the egg whites to a stiff foam.

    Add a small teacupful of currant jelly and whisk all together again.

    Fill half full of cream as many saucers as you have guests.

    Drop in the centre of each saucer a tablespoonful of the beaten eggs and jelly in the shape of a pyramid.

    Serve. Add a garnish of a sprig of mint and some grated dark chocolate.

Tips

  • Try other berry jellies such as raspberry, blackberry and strawberry.
  • Another serving idea is to place a berry coulis design on the plate around the pyramid shape.
