How to Make an Exfoliator With Fruit Seeds

Exfoliating with fruit seeds is very beneficial for the skin. Making such an exfoliator may seem hard. However, the benefits of it are long-lasting.

  1. 1
Choose a proper facial scrub. This should just be plain facial liquid soap and nothing more. Choose one that is good for your skin. Preferably, you should have tried this before and know that it is good for your skin type.
  2. 2
Gather fruits that have seeds in them. The seeds will serve as an exfoliant. Core an apple, or cut it into pieces. Slowly extract the seeds from it and set them aside.
  3. 3
Buy a small apricot and set it outside, preferably in the sun, to let it dry. In a few days' time, it will start to become hard. Once the apricot skin has hardened, take it inside and poke a steel spoon into the skin, causing a hole. Tear off the skin. On a cutting board, slice the skin into small pieces. Set this cut-up skin along with the apple seeds.
  4. 4
Rubbing the seeds of an orange against your skin will help exfoliate it. Carefully slice an orange into small pieces. If you cannot find the seeds, continue slicing until you find them. Set the seeds aside too.
  5. 5
Buy apricot-seed extracts, which can be found in some herbal stores. These serve as great exfoliants. Also purchase mineral water for the exfoliant.
  6. 6
Mix the apricot seeds, apricot skin pieces, apple seeds and orange seeds into the facial cleanser. If it is too thick, add in some mineral water until it is to the thickness you desire.
