Ingredients

Easy Version

  • 1 cup (230g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (115g) heavy whipping cream
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • About 5 quarts popped popcorn

Master Version

  • 1 cup (230g) butter
  • 2 cups (440g) brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 quarts (160g) popped popcorn
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Method 1
Making Easy Caramel Corn

    Combine the brown sugar, cream, and salt in a saucepan. Melt, stirring occasionally.

    Boil sauce, stirring continuously, for 3 minutes.

    Remove from heat and drizzle over popcorn. Stir until combined, then enjoy!

    Preheat the oven to 250ºF/120ºC.

    Mix salt, butter, syrup, and brown sugar in a large saucepan and heat until liquid.

    Meanwhile, pour the popcorn into a large mixing bowl.

    Spray two large baking pans with non-stick spray.
