How to Make Cheesy Corn Triangles

Quick to make and easy to bake, these cheesy corn triangles are super with soup!


  • 100g plain flour
  • 100g semolina
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 100ml milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 50g butter
  • 100g sweet corn
  • 100g grated cheese
  • Salt and Pepper

    Mix the flour, semolina and baking powder together in a big bowl.

    Beat the milk and eggs together in a bowl.

    Gently melt the butter in a small saucepan.
  4. 4
    Set the oven to 180*C/350*F/Gas mark 4. Lightly grease an 18-cm square cake tin.

    Add the sweetcorn and cheese to the flour mixture, then pour in the egg mixture and add the melted butter.

    Give the ingredients in the bowl a good stir to mix them thoroughly.

    Spoon the mixture into the tin.

    Smooth the top and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and springy to touch. Cut into triangles and serve straight away.
