How to Make Chocolate Chili Sauce

This is chocolate sauce with the tang of chili to provide a sensational lift. It is ideal for ice cream or puddings.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 bar (100 grams) dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (or, to taste)
  • ½ cup cream
  • Pinch of salt

    Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler.
