How to Make Creamed Eggs

Here's a quick and thrifty egg dish that can be served for almost any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled and peeled, then sliced or quartered
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup ham, cubed, optional
  • 1 tablespoon butter, approximate
  • 10 3/4 ounces can cream of mushroom soup, condensed, thinned slightly, if desired
  • dash white pepper

    Melt butter and saute mushrooms until softened.

Tips

  • If the ham and mushrooms are omitted, season the sauce with curry powder to taste.
  • If omitting ham and mushrooms, omit the melted butter as well.
