How to Make Framed Eggs

This is a fun, tasty, and easy to make dish that kids will love!

Ingredients

  • 3 slices of bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 9 centimeter (3.5 in) slices of butter or margarine

Steps

    Take the bread and cut a circular hole into it big enough to fit a raw egg in but small enough so the egg won't fall out.

    Put the pan on the stove and turn the stove on high.

    Put 1 slice of butter on the pan for each egg.

    Move the butter around with the spatula until the pan is covered with butter.

    Put the bread in the pan. Usually the pan can hold three pieces of bread.

    Let the bread cook until brown, then flip the bread over.

    Place another slice of butter in the hole in the bread.

    Flip it over and place the butter in the hole again.

    Break an egg into the bowl.

    Pour the egg carefully into the hole in each of the slices the bread.

    Let the egg cook on that side.

Tips

  • Whenever it says to add butter, add one for each framed egg.
  • This makes 3 framed eggs.
