How to Make Hot Choc Mallow Sauce

This is a recipe for a sauce that combines both marshmallows and chocolate. It is suitable for pouring over a range of favourite desserts, such as pudding, ice cream, cheesecake, etc.

Ingredients

  • 200 g milk chocolate buttons
  • 100 g white marshmallows
  • 300 g thickened cream

    Put the chocolate buttons into the small saucepan.

    Add the thickened cream and white marshmallows.

    Heat over low heat, stirring constantly. Keep stirring until the marshmallows melt into the chocolate. The sauce should become very smooth in consistency.

Tips

  • If making for vegetarians or vegans, be sure to use marshmallows that do not contain gelatin. If the marshmallows do contain this, warn guests in case they are not able to consume it.
