How to Make Potato Chip Deviled Eggs

Chips or crisps can be used as a filler along with egg, bacon and mayonnaise to make some tasty potato chip deviled eggs.

Ingredients

  • Potato chips (crisps), flavor of your choice
  • Eggs
  • Bacon
  • Mayonnaise
  • Paprika

    Get as many eggs as you like. Put the eggs in a pot and fill the pot up with water. Set the stove on high. Boil for 10 to 15 minutes.

    Prepare the bacon. As the eggs are boiling, grab your favorite bacon. Microwave or cook anyway you like––just make sure bacon is crispy.

    Let the bacon sit once cooked.

    Prepare the chips. Grab any chips you like (barbecue flavored chips are recommended). Crush the chips with your hand or fingers inside of a big bowl until the chips are turned into large crumbs. They should be just big enough that there is still a crunch to them, not as small as breadcrumbs.

    Grab the bacon. Cut into very small pieces.

    Take the handle of the pot with the boiled eggs and carefully place the whole pot over cold water. Once the water has cooled, crack the eggs from the bottom and begin to peel over cold water, once all eggs are peeled dry them and place them to the side.

    Cut the eggs horizontally or vertically in halves. Scoop out the yolks with a teaspoon and put them into the bowl. Lay the boiled egg white halves to one side, for filling shortly.

    Place all of the ingredients apart from the egg white halves in the bowl. Spoon in a spoonful of your favorite mayonnaise. Use the spoon to crush the yolks and mix everything together. Stir until all the ingredients are combined.

    Use either a spoon or your hands to hold one egg white with the hole facing upward.

    Stuff a teaspoon of the mixed ingredients into the egg.

    Repeat this process until all of the ingredients have been added.

    Serve immediately. Don't leave for too long or the crunch factor of both chips and bacon will be reduced.

Tips

  • Be careful handling the pot. You can be burned easily.
