How to Plan a Shopping Spree

Shopping can be way less stressful if you have a plan. Knowing ahead of the shopping spree which stores you want to go to, and what items you're looking for, can save you time and money. Leaving you with more things you need, and less things you don't. This article will show you how.

  1. 1
Grab a piece of paper or a notebook and a pen. Make sure that there are quite a few blank pages because you have to plan everything very precisely for a perfect day.
  2. 2
Write the date of your trip, and how you will be getting there. Beforehand, make sure you have checked all bus routes, train railways and times, depending how you are travelling. It is a good idea to write these routes/times down and keep them with you in case you get lost or lose track of time.
  3. 3
Plan out a budget and times for setting off and coming back home. A budget is important because when you don't have one, you don't realize how much money you're spending until you get home.
  4. 4
Wear clothes that can easily be slipped on and off. You may want to buy clothes and if so, you need to try them on. Skinny jeans and tight tops are the worst thing that you could wear. Light clothes are recommended.
  5. 5
Make a list of needs and wants. If you're over budget when you want to by something on your 'want' list, then it's obviously not worth the money. On the other hand, if it's on your 'need' list then it's something you need and can't live without.
  6. 6
Take a handbag or a bag. This would be sensible because you can put all of your items in there.
    • Keep an energy bar or similar snack in your bag, to help restore your energy levels quickly. A bottle of water is also helpful, to slake your thirst as needed.

  • Make sure that your belongings can't be seen easily; anyone who sees a purse/wallet on show in an open bag might take it without you or anybody else noticing. If you're distracted by all the sales, this can happen all too easily.
