How to Play Russian Roulette With Playing Cards

This is an article detailing how to play a card game that is similar to Russian roulette, but without the danger!

Steps

    Take five 'normal' (numbered) playing cards of any suite.

    Take the Joker or a Royal card (Jack, Ace, King, Queen.) This is your "death card". Make sure it is an easily distinguishable card from the rest.

    Place it on top of the other cards to make a six-card deck. Shuffle the deck thoroughly.

    Offer the deck, face-down, to another player, and have them take the top card. If it is not the "death card", put it at the bottom and offer the deck to another player. After the second "draw", shuffle the deck again to simulate spinning the chambers of a revolver. This is only to be done once in a game.

    If the "death card" is picked, then the player who picked it out loses.

Tips

  • You can use different numbers of cards, but six is the traditional number of chambers in a revolver.
