How to Rejuvenate the Skin

We all want beautiful flawless skin, right? As we all know, it's not the easiest thing in the world to achieve because we all age and we all have different skin types, some more stubborn than others. To rejuvenate means to uplift, restore, or make youthful. We would all love to rejuvenate our skin, so here are some natural home remedies on how to give your skin a new life.

    Give your skin a drink! Drinking water is crucial to maintaining your skin's elasticity and suppleness, so about 8 glasses a day should do the trick, and no using carbonated and sugary drinks as an alternative to any of those 8 glasses.

    You need to give some thought and consideration to the type of makeup you choose at the store. Be sure the label says "OIL-FREE" and "unscented". Choose a type that you won't have to reapply constantly.

    Use a good skin moisturizer with added vitamin A,C, and E, which help block the penetration of environmental pollutants.

    Exercise! Not only is it great for your overall health, but your skin too! Choose a program such as aerobics because it can activate the skin and improve circulation and blood flow. Also, body sweat triggers production of sebum, which is the skin's own natural moisturizer.

Long-term effects could lead to psoriasis, eczema or rosacea) So with all that said.. try to find a way to reduce the stress in your life,which can be a huge way to rejuvenate the skin.   • Natural Moisturizer: Stir the juice of half a lemon into one cup of plain yogurt. Keep it in the refrigerator and apply it as you would a cream every night before bed. You can even apply a thin coat of moisturizer over it is you like, after waiting about five minutes for the yogurt mixture to penetrate. With consistent use, you should see more even pigmentation and smoother skin in three to four weeks!

  • Natural soothing mask: Separate the egg whites from a couple eggs and place them in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt (do not use flavored yogurt!). Mix them up and apply to face. Leave on face for a few minutes then rinse face in warm water, followed by a warm washcloth.
  • Natural Exfoliation mask: Stir 2 tbsp sugar into 3 tbsp warm water so that it melts.
    • Make sure granules are dissolved, otherwise they could tear your skin. Apply to the face. Gently massage around the skin. Rinse with warm water OR I like to take a warm washcloth that's steamed in the microwave. Make sure the washcloth is not too hot.
  • Natural Anti-Aging mask:
    • 1 tablespoon of instant oatmeal or finely ground regular oatmeal
    • 1 tablespoon of rose clay
    • 1 teaspoon of honey
    • 1 teaspoon of avocado or almond oil
    • 1 drop of frankincense oil
    • 1 drop of neroli or lavender oil
    • 1 drop of rose oil
    • For this anti aging facial mask, use water to make a paste. Apply the mask mixture to the face for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Pat dry the face with a clean towel.


  • Avoid excess sun exposure! Causes wrinkles, brown spots, and skin discolorations!
